Accles & Pollock- a trading division of Clydesdale Engineering Ltd – based in the West Midlands is further expanding its capabilities to include presswork, laser cutting and metal fabrication. Combined with our already long and substantial history in tube manipulation, joining techniques and complex CNC machining this will make us a “one stop shop” for our customers in aerospace, defence, nuclear, automotive and off highway.
We have a range of both manual and progression presses from 10T up to 800T with our press shop boasting over 40 individual presses and we’re proud to be able to offer unrivalled manufacturing quality coupled with flexibility.
At Accles & Pollock our customers are able to come to us with confidence on high volume production parts for an established automotive vehicle, or low to medium volume aerospace parts for engines and aircraft. The manual press facility offers customers the flexibility to obtain pressed components without incurring the higher costs associated with progression press tools and we place a strong emphasis on incoming raw material controls to ensure it’s a critical aspect for our
business and partners. Our in-house capability also enables us to be modify transfer press tools to single tools stage

Accles & Pollock also operates two progression presses – 250T and 500T – capable of working with both coils and strips.
In addition to the press shop we operate laser cutting machines in tandem with material stacking facilities that are capable of running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our laser cutting capabilities are complemented by a range of press brake machines with various
technologies, sizes, and tooling options.
Combined with our NADCAP approved welding and brazing techniques we can also leverage robotic welding technology to achieve precision and efficiency, reducing waste whilst also enhancing safety. We strive to achieve each specific customer need on both simple and complex assemblies in a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, Inconel and titanium.
